Bike is fine but please upgrade brakes and more power and speed for version 2. Even if it's for a higher price will be fine. Also perhaps 2 headlights.
Had mine for about 6 weeks. It's fun and a good toy. No regrets buying it, however please make a "premium" version with more power for acceleration, a top speed of approx 60kmhr and A LOT ALOT Better brakes! The brakes on it are dangerously bad! Needs to be double in braking performance! If you can do that for $5k another one will be sold.
4 out five. Can’t wait for my first service
The Bandit is big fun in a small package. As of writing, I have done roughly 450km of riding on my Bandit so I've had enough time to write a fair and decent review.
I'll start with the good stuff; assembly is quick and easy, the dual suspension makes for a comfy ride, the motor does a bloody good job for its size, good range on the battery, easy to use and responsive controls, and the bandit doesn't raise any suspicions when you're riding on the footpath or back streets because of its smaller form factor.
Now the bad stuff; The bike weighs 40kg with the battery which isn't that heavy of a bike but with an adult male rider, the bike can theoretically weigh 150+ kg in total and those little tektro brakes feel like they weren't meant to stop a 150+ kg mass moving at potentially 40+ km/h.
Overall, I really like my Bandit. It looks cool and I actually enjoy my commute now.
Great bike, easy to put together, needed second person to help with installing the front wheel but overall pretty straightforward to put together, right out the box.
